Heinrich Klaasen, Player of the Match: Well, actually...found the middle of the bat, which is one I've been searching for for about a year and a half now. So, I'm getting a lot of confidence, and I hope that will continue for the rest of the tournament. It's been a lot of hard work, people I trust, but at the end of the day, it's just a small detail that really actually made a big change over the last few games. But I've been thinking about it way too much, making the game so complicated for yourself. But it's been a long search, and finally, the last two games, I'm a little bit more pleased
Faf du Plessis, Rotterdam Dockers Captain: I thought we were very efficient in the field today, and there were a couple of 40-plus-year-olds that threw their bodies around all day and saved time. So, extremely efficient with the ball and in the field. Surprisingly, the wicket, because of that dampness this morning, it actually skidded on really well. So, it looked like a really good wicket. So, we were very happy in our first stage with the score, but it slowed down completely. So, by surprise, I didn't expect that at all. But really, the guys bowled well, took all the pace off. Klaasen, particularly, the way that he bowled almost felt like a left-arm spinner. So, a tricky wicket and a tricky chase, and you need one skill to be efficient in the way that you chase and be calm. So, I thought we did that really well in the powerplay, because it wasn't coming on as easily. You can easily hit your way into trouble and be three down, and it's a tough chase. So, I thought just being 42 or 43 after six was a good tempo, and then batting a little bit through the middle, and the one by Klaasen. I mean, if he hits the ball in the middle like that, it makes it look a lot easier for the rest of us. Very important. It's obviously a team that we are competing with in terms of the top three. So, yeah, we were very much on today, planning to make sure that in all departments we were ready mentally and physically to put in a really good show. So, that for me is the most pleasing, the way the guys showed up with their bodies in the field. But yeah, really, really big two points.
Glenn Maxwell, Belfast Wolves Captain: I felt like we had the power to access both sides of the ground, and I don't think we sort of went out and thought about the wind too much. They obviously bowled very well. We weren't trying to target one specific area and tried to keep the whole ground in play. With the ball in hand, it seemed like we kind of had them for a bit, until obviously Heinrich Klaasen came out and played a really powerful innings. He was probably the only guy, with David Miller, to come out there and time the ball from the first ball. He played a brilliant innings. The wicket was spinning and holding up, and the slot, the slower balls, were obviously getting some grip. He was able to show us his true power. We're in a good space. As I said, it would have been nice to win that toss and hopefully have the better of the conditions. But we're playing really well as a group. To put 160 on the board when you're sent in, I think is a good effort, and to be right up there right to the end, you just need one ball to go to hand, and it feels like it could have been a different result.
Both batters took their time and accelerated just at the right time. Klaasen was hit for plenty in the 18th, and before that, Humphreys leaked 17 in the 15th over, putting them right back in the driving seat. And a man like Klaasen, a proven finisher, seldom botches these chases. It was a clinical finish in the end. Levitt played a brilliant knock of 44, and then Klaasen and Shubham ensured they got their side over the line. Not many inroads with the ball, although they kept things tight for the most part. F. Klaasen was the pick of the bowlers for Wolves. Wolves would feel they left a few runs out there.
