That's it from the SCG. We're all set for Scorchers v Sixers VI on Sunday in Perth. Thanks for your company tonight. Join us for the final on Sunday.
Joel Davies is player of the match. Davies: "I did leave the field late. It was just a little bit of cramp. I wasn't too sure."
Steven Smith on Fox: "Excited to head back to Perth. Not looking forward to that flight to be honest after doing it a couple of days ago but once we get there it'll be great. They're a very good side, they play well over there. Should be a good challenge."
10.21pm Sixers win in a canter. They win by 57 runs and head to Perth to face Scorchers in yet another final. It will be the sixth time Scorchers play Sixers in a final. Scorchers are chasing their sixth title and Sixers their fourth. They were far too good for an undermanned Hurricanes. Smith was the star with the bat but the middle order provided power in the second half of the innings. The bowling was clinical as was the catching, bar one miss from Smith. They held some spectacular catches.
Vasumathy : "Perth may be invincible at The Optus but watch out for The 6ers in prime touch "
Ellis: "You've got to feel for the Hurricanes. They lose Tim David and Nathan Ellis, and the Sixers gain Steve Smith and Mitch Starc for the back half of the competition."
