Rashid Khan, Player of the Match: Quite happy. It was something unusual for me (last two seasons). This season, more about enjoying myself and hitting the right areas consistently. Happy with that (so far). When I had that surgery, I took only two months to get back. That time, I made a huge mistake (of coming back soon). Last year, when IPL was over, I had 2-3 months off and tried to work on my fitness. The rhythm I bowl through the crease - it was something I was missing. Had a good Hundred competition and then kept on. The moment I bowled the first ball, I knew there was something for me. Pace was something I was trying to mix up. If I leave the stumps, it gets easy for the batters to take a single or hit a boundary. Wanted to hit a length but also the line. I made that move in my mind - that if I pitch it in the right area, there will be help. The moment it left my hand, I knew. (On working with the Indian spinners) It is so good. We have been together for a long time. Important to have those players around you. When I come here, I have those good conversations (on how to bowl at different venues in India), and I share my international experiences. Modern cricket demands more variations. Sai Kishore is working hard on his variations and working hard on a wrong'un - looking forward to seeing it (in matches).
Shubman Gill, GT captain: Boys were having that conversation that we had not had the perfect game. We got 10-15 extra, it was not easy to hit sixes or boundaries (against the spinners). Always knew if we got a couple of wickets in the powerplay, we would have a good game. (On Siraj and Rabada bowling three each in the powerplay) We believe it is important to hold fort up front. If we take wickets, it gives the bowlers more chance to attack through the middle. You have to keep taking wickets - there is no other way. (On how he is feeling with his team's current form) Very happy. Next game is at home and hopefully we will have another good match. (On his injury) I twisted my ankle a bit but after half an hour, it settled down.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, RR captain: We were just thinking to bowl good areas, they batted well. We were just thinking of how to cut down boundaries, so it was pretty good from them. (On Archer's performance tonight) It is cricket. There are some days when you cannot bowl how you want. He has been doing well for us, and I think he will be coming back strongly. We are going to look at what we can do better and learn from this game.
Kagiso Rabada, Purple Cap holder: Everyone is just determined, I am determined myself. Everyone is just given a role - try to perform to the best of your ability. (Duel with Sooryavanshi and what is his plan) What has worked for 11 years will continue to work. About hedging your bets and hoping it works. Lot of hard work done behind the scenes. Lot of nuances but apart from that, it is same-old, same-old. Body feels good. This is where the fatigue starts to set in, so just trying to stay on top of it and be as fresh as possible. Hopefully I can just continue what I have been doing. (On his slower balls and if he is putting in some extra work) Not really. I have not bowled too many this season, but when they are needed, I will bowl them.
11:05pm Another commanding win for GT, and they now look like a team in perfect sync. Their batters srt up this game and their pacers, after the onslaught by Sooryavanshi, recovered to dent the Royals. There were a couple of cameos from the home side but nothing lasted long enough to really threaten the Titans or the mountain of runs they put up.
Lots to ponder for RR. Their early season success now seems a distant memory and with their next game not until May 17, they might find themselves well out of the top four by the next time they play, and with serious must-win complications.

Holder to Deshpande, OUT, another terrible shank, and Holder finishes off the demolition job! GT go level with SRH at the top of the table, and RR have been consigned to another mid-season defeat! Half-way down outside off and this climbs steeply too. Deshpande cannot control his swat and only clinks it towards backward point. A tame end to what was largely a tame RR performance, and GT have been full value for the two points tonight!
