Qualifier 1 will see the Guyana Amazon Warriors face off against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, while the Barbados Tridents and Jamaica Kingsmen will lock horns in the Eliminator. Imran Tahir: "[Batting collapse pattern emerging?] No, not really. If you look at it, I think the pitch played a little better in the second half than in the first - that was really the main advantage. There were a couple of dismissals off balls that kept really low, so I can't completely blame the batters, but there was also some poor shot selection from our side. We obviously need to sit down and discuss it, especially because it looks like we'll be facing pretty much the same scenario again.

[Plan for the playoffs] Look, the plan is pretty much the same. We know the opposition we're going to play against, so we just need to sit down, talk it through, and be prepared for anything, just like we've done all season. We've been put in tough situations at times, and we just need to overcome them. We've only had two bad games so far, so from a team standpoint, it's been a great effort from the boys. We've played a really good brand of cricket and we want to carry that forward. [Warriors fans in the crowd] We're still very grateful to them. They always turn out to support us, and it means a lot. I'm pretty sure we're going to see a full house, and we're really looking forward to that game."

Chris Green: "[Winning four straight games at home] Yeah, look, our home leg was our last leg, and every team talks about their home leg being the most important. For us, even more so, given the finals are here. It was great last night to achieve that goal of home finals, and this was always a danger game. You know, you come in with all your goals ticked off, and you can just let it drift by. But I'm really happy with our efforts, how we dominated, took the game on, and took down the form team of this tournament. So we go into Wednesday full of confidence and looking forward to that matchup against Jamaica.

[Bowling performance] Excellent bowling, right from the get-go. Ghazanfar, Motie, and George Linde were outstanding. I think we had three bowlers on a hat-trick at one stage tonight! Across the five games we've played here, what's been impressive has been our bowling consistency. That's something that has put us in really strong positions in all five games. Obviously, we didn't chase the runs against Trinidad, but we've been chasing under-par totals and getting the job done. Full credit to our bowling lineup. Again, like I keep saying, it's been different players standing up each time, which has been so impressive.

[Eliminator against Kingsmen] Definitely. I mean, I usually lose tosses for fun, but somehow I've won the last five in a row! I don't know how that happened. Batting second, we've got a good blueprint for how to navigate the conditions here at Kensington and try to get a 155 or 160 total if conditions demand it. One thing we have to do is rock up and assess the conditions early. As for Jamaica, we know after that close game last night that they're going to come out wanting to take us down and knock us out here at home. We want to capture this crowd, dominate, and take them down instead. So it's going to be a great clash. It's an exciting part of the tournament now for the four remaining teams, and one I'm really looking forward to."

Player of the Match, AM Ghazanfar: "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Yeah, just trusting my skills and using my best variations with a plan, that's it. Bowling in the powerplay is always a challenge. But I had a good plan for these guys and wanted to execute it again and again for Barbados. I really like it here [Barbados]; it's one of my favorite places. I had some fresh fish, and I love the Barbados crowd and the love they show us."

10:32 pm An early strike by Permaul dismissed Carter in the third over to give the Warriors a glimmer of hope in defending their modest target. Miraz then continued his fine run of form with the ball, showing his knack for taking wickets at will by bowling QDK. Right after the powerplay, Tahir joined the party by removing Rutherford, who was caught at long-on. King returned to the runs at a crucial moment while Descarte carried over his fine touch, with the pair building a steady partnership to stabilize a struggling chase. Descarte even launched back to back sixes off the evergreen Tahir before falling for a quickfire 32 off 20 balls - caught at long on right after the rain break. King stayed firm until the end, finishing unbeaten on 44 to ensure there were no further hiccups in front of a warm home crowd. As handshakes were exchanged all around, Descarte was spotted icing his injured right thumb.
