Toss Zimbabwe chose to bat vs South Africa
Zimbabwe chose to bat in Delhi. Captain Sikandar Raza said he based the decision around the injuries his team has been managing.
Richard Ngarava has been managing a lower-back issue and has been sidelined. Graeme Cremer stepped in for him. Tashinga Musekiwa went down with an ankle problem. Clive Madande took his place. Tinotenda Maposa also went out for Wellington Masakadza.
South Africa captain Aiden Markram wanted to bat as well. He reasoned that it would've done them well to practice setting a total given three of their last four wins at the T20 World Cup have come chasing. South Africa had three changes as well, with Markram noting that players were being given a rest ahead of their semi-final match later this week. In came Kwena Maphaka, Anrich Nortje and George Linde. Out went Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen and Keshav Maharaj.
