After deciding to stay close to home to attend the University of Southern California, Leslie wasted little time establishing herself at the college level (1990-94), winning national freshman of the year accolades. An All-American her final three seasons, Leslie held the Pac-10 career records in scoring (2,414 points), rebounding (1,214) and blocked shots (321) when she graduated. She was the 1994 national player of the year and Naismith Trophy winner, and also was the first player to be named a four-time All-Pac-10 first-team honoree.
