It does appear the NBA soon will have an All-Star weekend in Atlanta, even though not every league superstar seems in favor of it, with the dunk contest, 3-point shootout and the requisite game capping the weekend. Fantasy managers can now watch their players on a nightly basis, unlike the old days when All-Star weekend might be the only chance to see a Dominique Wilkins fly, but still, we like to see our players on the grand, albeit rather meaningless, stage.

In the fantasy hoops world, however, they surely deserve it.
