Read below for weekly rankings and start/sit recommendations
These rankings are based on the assumption that all players and teams play their games as scheduled over the next week...yeah, I know. But it's the best we've got. I'm positive that you'll stay plugged in to potential absences and schedule changes due to COVID-19 up until rosters lock on Monday, and adjust your lineups accordingly. With that said...
...so, you're in a weekly transaction league, and half of your line-up is unavailable. You need to decide by Monday evening who your starting lineup will be for the week. Should you consider sitting a usual impact starter like Domantas Sabonis or De'Aaron Fox? Or perhaps starting someone like Jordan Clarkson, who might generally be on your bench, perhaps even your waiver wire? And what's the weekly update on Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson?
Sabonis and Fox are on the sittable list because the Kings play only twice this week. The Clippers and Spurs join them with only two games, which is why guys like Reggie Jackson, Jakob Poeltl and Keldon Johnson are also on that list. Dejounte Murray has been so dominant that he still snuck into the top-100 with two games, but he's also much further down the weekly rankings than he'd be in any other circumstance.
Clarkson is startable because the Jazz have four games this week, but also because he's been getting more run with Donovan Mitchell (back) and Mike Conley Jr. (load management) getting more time off. The startable list is littered with potential streamer options, so peruse for players that may be available in your league.
The Nets have two road games and two home games next week, which means that Irving is currently looking at playing in two games. The Warriors have four games, but they do have a back-to-back, which could mean both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green could sit. Factor that into your decisions on starting them, but also keep in mind that with Stephen Curry out for the season, guys like Jordan Poole, Moses Moody and Gary Payton II could be in for at least one monster game next week if the vets sit.
