Fantasy football is all about fun, competition and camaraderie, but it's also another way to appreciate the best of the best in the NFL. For more than three decades, ESPN Fantasy has been here with you, celebrating peak performers and magical moments.
Presenting the ESPN Fantasy Football Hall of Fame
, which honors the best players and acknowledges the most memorable moments since the advent of our game in 1995, the first year that fantasy football was available on ESPN.com.
Take me to the ESPN Fantasy Football Hall of Fame
Class of 2026 Week 7 Inductee: Tony Gonzalez
3,510.7 fantasy points
1,325 receptions, 15,127 receiving yards, 111 total TDs
The highest-scoring tight end in fantasy football history and one who helped set the template for the modern tight end, Gonzalez's 3,510.7 career points give him a lead of more than 500 over the next-best at the position, Jason Witten. Over a 17-year career, he paced his position in fantasy points six times (1999-2001, '03-04, '08), matching Travis Kelce for the most ever by a tight end, and he finished second an additional five times (2002, '06-07, '12-13). Gonzalez was as safe a fantasy starter as there was, missing only two of 272 possible games in his career, and scoring 15 or more fantasy points 99 times, also the most by any tight end.
"Tony G." will be inducted Sunday during "Fantasy Focus Countdown" (10 a.m. ET on ESPN2). Tune in each week through Week 16 as we reveal all 18 members of the inaugural class of the ESPN Fantasy Football Hall of Fame.
