Saturday at the 2026 Masters saw a historic lead evaporate.
After a legendary second round which saw him a record six shots ahead of the field, Rory McIlroy looked mortal in the third. He was 1 over par on Saturday -- not a disastrous result -- but many of his challengers were on fire. Cameron Young posted a 7 under, briefly securing the lead and ending the day tied with McIlroy for first at 11 under overall. Sam Burns, with a 4-under third round, is a single shot behind them.
While we wait for an epic finale on Sunday, here are the top sights and sounds from the third round of the Masters.
