Eastern Kentucky 87, Greenville 62

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) -- Jason McLeish scored 21 points to lead

Eastern Kentucky to an 87-62 victory over Division III Greenville

College Tuesday night.

Zach Ingles added 14 points for Eastern (7-1), and Alonzo Hird

scored 13.

Scott Foster led the Panthers (3-7) with 20 points, Brandon

Martin scored 13, and Bryson Taylor and DaWaun Wells had 10 apiece.

Eastern pushed the margin to 32 points after outscoring the

Panthers 15-6 to open the second half, giving the Colonels a 66-34

advantage with 16:45 remaining.

Eastern was 20-of-27 (74 percent) from the field in the first

half and made five shots from 3-point range, led by Ingles, who

connected on three 3-pointers in the first half and four for the

game.

McLeish was 9-of-11 from the field.

Eastern led 16-12 with 13:37 remaining in the first half but put

the game away by outscoring the Panthers 35-16 the remainder of the

half for a 51-28 halftime lead.
