Jacksonville 82, Fla Atlantic 81

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- David Lee scored 23 points, including

the game-winning 3-pointer with four seconds to play, to give

Jacksonville an 82-81 win over Florida Atlantic on Tuesday night.

Jacksonville (6-7, 2-4 Atlantic Sun Conference) trailed 81-73

with 1:20 remaining before Lee reeled off three straight 3-pointers

to end the game.

Lee's first two 3-pointers cut the deficit to 81-79 with 35

seconds left before Aubrey Conerly stole Tywain McTyer's pass to

set up the final shot.

Antonio Cool missed a potential game-winning shot, but the

Dolphins got the ball out of bounds and Jesse Kimbrough found Lee

in the corner for the game winner. Haminn Quaintance stole the

ensuing inbounds pass to preserve the win.

Quaintance also added 18 points for the Dolphins, who also got

14 points from Kimbrough and 12 from Cool.

Mike Bell led Florida Atlantic (3-10, 3-3) with 24 points, while

Robert Williams scored a season-high 15. Webb added 12 points for

the Owls while McTyer added 11.

FAU held a 40-32 halftime lead and extended the lead to as much

as 13. The Owls later led 75-65 with 5:22 left, but the Dolphins

closed the game on a 17-6 run.
