Manhattan 63, Siena 58

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Devon Austin scored 14 of his 20 points in

the first half and Manhattan held off Siena 63-58 on Monday night.

The Jaspers (13-6, 9-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic) used an 11-1 run

to take a 12-4 lead and never trailed again. Jeff Xavier added 13

points and Jason Wingate had 12 points and six assists. Arturo

Dubois scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Down 41-26 with 16 minutes left in the game, the Saints (9-10,

4-7) put together a rally. Kojo Mensah scored 15 of his 20 points

in the second half.

Siena had an 11-2 run that cut the deficit to a point at 47-46.

But Tay Fisher missed the tying free throw, and the Saints couldn't

get any closer.

Antoine Jordan finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds for

Siena. Kenny Hasbrouck added 14 points.
