SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) -- Brandon Cole scored 23 points to lead

IUPUI to a 65-49 win over Centenary Thursday night, giving the

Jaguars their first-ever Mid-Continent regular season championship

title.

George Hill added 15 points for the Jaguars (18-7, 13-1

Mid-Continent), who secured the top seed in the March 4 conference

tournament with the win.

Alexander Starr led the Gents (4-21, 2-12) with 14 points.

IUPUI was a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line in the

second half, finishing the game 14-of-15. The Jaguars also

out-rebounded the Gents 25-19 while holding Centenary to just 18.2

percent (2-of-11) on 3-pointers.
