NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Ian Clark hit seven 3s and finished with 30 points to help Belmont blowout Lipscomb 100-66 Tuesday night in a nonconference matchup.
Kerron Johnson scored 17 points and Reece Chamberlain chipped in with 11 for Belmont (6-2).
Trailing 18-10 with 13:19 remaining in the first half, Belmont outscored Lipscomb 35-17 the rest of the period.
Clark scored 17 points in the first half, going 5 for 9 from downtown. The Bruins hit 10 3-pointers in the first half to take a 45-35 advantage into halftime.
The Bruins scored 55 points in the second half to run away with the victory.
Lipscomb (3-4) got within nine points in the second half, 57-48 with 13:50 left to play, but Belmont answered with a 43-18 run to close out the game.
Khion Sankey led Lipscomb with 15 points.
