Evansville 103, Oakland City 69

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- DJ Balentine scored 17 points and Evansville never trailed Tuesday night in defeating Division II Oakland City 103-69.

Ned Cox and Ryan Sawvell scored 16 points apiece for the Purple Aces (7-4).

Lewis Jones added 11 points for Evansville. Eleven players scored for the Aces, who led 48-29 at halftime. They shot 54 percent from the field and outrebounded Oakland City 47-26.

Mitch Stahl led all scorers with 22 points for the Mighty Oaks. Kendall Wittmer made three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for Oakland City.

The Purple Aces next play Saturday at No. 19 Butler.
