EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Troy Taylor grabbed 19 rebounds, and Egidijus Mockevicius scored 18 points to help Evansville beat Missouri State 62-59 in overtime Wednesday night.
Among Taylor's rebounds were 14 on the defensive end. Mockevicius was 6 of 6 from the field. Lewis Jones added 14 points, and Colt Ryan had 13.
Evansville (8-6, 1-1, Missouri Valley) led 21-15 at halftime. Missouri State led by four at 3:01 in the second half.
Anthony Downing had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead the Bears (3-11 1-1, Missouri Valley). Nathan Scheer added 10 points.
