YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Glenn Bryant had 17 points and four blocks as Eastern Michigan pulled away in the second half for a 65-46 victory over Buffalo on Wednesday.
The Eagles (11-11, 4-4 Mid-American) led 37-35 early in the second half when Daylen Harrison, Bryant and Austin Harper hit three straight baskets to start a 16-4 run that made it 53-39 with 9:16 remaining. The lead stayed in double digits the rest of the way as Eastern Michigan held the Bulls (8-15, 3-6) to just 13 second-half points.
Harper added 10 points for the Eagles, who shot 47 percent from the floor and committed just four turnovers.
Javon McCrea scored 15 points and Will Regan had 12 for Buffalo, which shot 28 percent in the second half. The Bulls also struggled with their free throws, making 11 of 22 shots from the line during the game.
