FARMVILLE, Va. -- Branimir Mikulic scored a career-high 15 points off the bench and 12 High Point players scored as the Panthers dominated Big South Conference-foe Longwood 82-53 to win their fifth straight and sweep the season series Wednesday night.
Mikulic was 6-of-7 shooting, including 3 of 3 on 3-point attempts. Adam Weary added 14 points and Derrell Edwards 10 for High Point (14-10, 9-3), which remains atop the Big South North Division.
The Panthers' five-game winning streak is their longest since 2009-10. They also beat the Lancers 88-60 on Jan. 30.
Longwood (4-22, 1-11), fresh of its first Big South win, got 14 points and 14 rebounds from Michael Kessens. Jeylani Dublin added 14 points as well, and T.T. Carey had 13.
High Point shot 54.2 percent (32 of 59) from the field and 69.2 percent (9 of 13) from 3-point range while dishing 23 assists.
