POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Chavaughn Lewis tallied career-highs of 30 points and 16 rebounds to help Marist blow out the Virginia Military Institute 112-74 Saturday night.
Devin Price scored 20 points and Isaiah Morton added 11 points and 13 assists to help Marist (8-20) snap a two-game skid and post a season high in points.
Marist dominated inside, outscoring VMI 44-30 in the paint, while controlling the boards 47-33.
On top 16-11 with 15:46 remaining in the first half, Marist pulled away with a 34-7 run. Morton capped the run with a layup to put Marist ahead 50-18 with 3:48 left in the half.
The Red Foxes shot 65.6 percent (21 of 32) in the first half, compared to VMI's 37.5 percent (15 of 40).
Marist outscored the VMI 56-37 in the second half and led by as many as 40 points.
D.J. Covington led the Keydets (11-16) with 18 points.
