NEW YORK -- Maodo Lo scored a career-high 20 points as Columbia rallied to defeat Yale 59-46 Friday night to end an eight-game losing streak to the Bulldogs.
Lo was 9-of-15 shooting for the Lions (12-13, 4-7 Ivy League), who trailed 33-27 with 16:55 remaining.
John Daniels tied it at 36 on a three-point play to spark a run of 14 unanswered points. The Lions took their biggest lead, 59-40, when Lo scored on a fall-away 3 as the shot clock wound down with 1:12 left.
Columbia shot 65.2 percent in the second half (15 of 23) compared to just 33.3 percent (7 of 21) for Yale.
Alex Rosenberg grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds to go along with nine points for the Lions, who have won two straight after a three-game skid.
Matt Townsend and Austin Morgan scored 10 apiece for the Bulldogs (11-17, 5-6), who defeated the Lions 75-56 on Feb. 16.
