BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Javonte Maynor scored 18 points, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, to lead Cal State Bakersfield to a win over in-state foe Sacramento State on Wednesday night 74-66.

Four players reached double-figures for the Roadrunners (2-1). Issiah Grayson had 15 and Zach Lamb added 14.

Sacramento State (1-1) was led by Dylan Garrity who had a game-high 22 points. Cody Demps had the games only double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets.

The Roadrunners shot 49 percent from the field and held the Hornets to 36 percent, including 3-of-14 from beyond the arc. CS Bakersfield shot 56 percent from downtown, making 9-of-16.

The Roadrunners lead the series 20-5 all-time versus the Hornets. The win was CS Bakersfield's 800th in program history.
