LAS VEGAS -- R.J. Price tied a career high with 30 points to lead Radford past Sacred Heart 94-78 in the third round of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic on Sunday.
Price was 6 of 9 from 3-point range with six assists and three steals. He scored 17 in the first half as Radford closed on a 14-3 run to lead 55-28 at the break.
Rashun Davis had 20 points and Javonte Green had 16 for the Highlanders (7-4) in the first meeting all-time between the schools.
Sacred Heart (2-11) chipped away at the 27-point halftime deficit and pulled to within 84-76 with 2:30 left in the game before allowing Radford to go on a 10-2 run to close out the game. Louis Montes scored 22 for the Pioneers.
