PEORIA, Ill. -- Jarmar Gulley scored 26 points and grabbed five rebounds to help give Missouri State a 68-65 victory over Bradley on Wednesday night.
Marcus Marshall had 20 points with four assists for the Bears (12-3, 2-1 Missouri Valley Conference). Austin Ruder added eight points. Missouri State hit 51 percent from the field overall and 63.2 percent from the line.
Omari Grier sank a pair of 3-pointers within a minute to help the Braves (6-10, 1-2) go up by 11 at 8:59 in the first before losing the momentum to trail the Bears by one at the break.
With the Bears down by two at 7:45 second period, Marshall hit a 3-pointer and sparked a 15-8 run to give Missouri State a 64-59 lead with a minute left to play.
Walt Lemon, Jr. led the Braves with 25 points, four assists and four steals.
