ABILENE, Texas -- Julian Edmonson came off the bench to score 27 points as Abilene Christian blew past Dallas Christian in a non-conference game Saturday night.
Parker Wentz added 22 points and six assists for the Wildcats (9-17). Michael Grant scored 14 points and Rafael Farley had 10. The Wildcats were accurate from all over the hardwood, sinking 58.2 percent from the field, 94 percent from the line and 48.3 percent from 3-point territory.
Abilene Christian roared to a 41-17 lead at 8:01 in the first half and led 59-33 at the break. From there, the Wildcats cruised to victory, leading by as many as 47 points at 3:48 in the second period and outrebounding the Crusaders 42-26 overall.
Chad Herring led the Crusaders with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The team hit 39.7 percent from the field and was just 4 of 18 (22.2 percent) from beyond the arc.
