Princeton opens with 67-50 win over Florida A&M
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Denton Koon had 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for his first career double-double as Princeton topped Florida A&M 67-50 on Sunday.
Princeton (1-0) held Florida A&M to under 33 percent shooting from the field and Florida A&M was just 1-of-11 on 3-pointers.
Princeton shot 12-of-31 from behind the 3-point arc. Jimmy Sherburne had 13 points for the Tigers, while Will Barrett added 12 and Hans Brase led Princeton with 10 rebounds.
