BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Javon McCrea scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as Buffalo beat Binghamton 87-57 in a Monday matinee.
The score was tied at 20 before Buffalo ended the half on a 20-4 run and opened the second half by outscoring Binghamton 16-3 and led 58-32 with just under 15 minutes remaining.
Buffalo (5-4) shot 47.6 percent from the field and made 9 of 24 from long range. Joshua Freelove canned five 3-pointers on his way to 19 points and Will Regan added 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
Jordan Reed came off the bench and scored 19 points for Binghamton (2-9), 11 of which came from the line. Nick Madray and Karon Waller added 11 apiece for the Bearcats.
McCrea recorded his fifth double-double of the season, after entering the game averaging 16.5 points and 9.1 rebounds.
