Cleveland State tops Wright State 72-68
DAYTON, Ohio -- Charlie Lee scored 25 points Saturday and Bryn Forbes scored the game-winning free throws as Cleveland State beat Wright State 72-68.
Trailing 31-29 at halftime, Cleveland State (17-9, 8-3 Horizon League) led 39-38 on a layup by Sebastian Douglas, but Wright State went ahead 49-47 on a dunk by Jerran Young, and led 66-65 on Young's layup with 59 seconds to play.
Miles Dixon made it a two-point game with a free throw, but Lee put Cleveland State up 68-67 with three free throws and Forbes added two more for a 70-67 lead. Chrishawn Hopkins' free throw drew Wright State to within two, but Anton Grady sank two free throws for Cleveland State to seal the win.
Grady scored 15 and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Vikings. Forbes scored 10.
Young led Wright State (14-13, 6-6) with 15, JT Yoho had 14, Cole Darling 12, and Dixon 10.
