WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. -- Emmy Andujar scored 27 points, one shy of matching his career-high, as Manhattan beat Monmouth (N.J.) 87-76 on Sunday.
Andujar was 8 of 10 from the field and 11 of 15 from the free throw line before fouling out with 2:20 left.
Shane Richards made 6 of 9 shots, including 4 of 6 3-pointers, hit all four of his free throws and grabbed eight rebounds for Manhattan (11-10, 8-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Ashton Pankey connected on 7 of 10 free throws and finished with 11 points. RaShawn Stores scored nine points and had a career-high nine assists.
