The Citadel sneaks past Navy, 67-60

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Jake Wright scored 21 points off the bench, including 6 of 10 from behind the 3-point line, to lead The Citadel to a 67-60 win over Navy on Saturday afternoon.

Ashton Moore added 13 points for the Bulldogs (3-4), P.J. Horgan finished with 12 points, and C.J. Bray had 10 points and a team-leading eight rebounds.

Navy held a 50-46 lead with 5:28 to play, but The Citadel went on a 13-4 run capped off by a Moore jumper with 1:29 left to seize control of the game. Overall, the Bulldogs outscored the Midshipmen 21-10 down the stretch.

Brandon Venturini scored 18 points to lead Navy (2-6). Jason Hemphill added nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds, and Will Kelly had eight points for the Midshipmen.
