Chattanooga beats Northern Kentucky 93-81
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Greg Pryor scored 24 points, Ronrico White added 20 and had five assists, and Chattanooga beat Northern Kentucky 93-81 Tuesday night.
Casey Jones added 13 for the Mocs (6-5), who outshot the Norse 62.8 percent to 49 percent and outrebounded them 25-22.
Tayler Persons led Northern Kentucky (4-6) with 30 points and five assists while Jalen Billups added 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting.
Anthony Monaco put the Norse on top 20-19 with a free throw, but the Mocs used a 10-1 run to pull ahead to a 54-42 halftime lead. Pryor scored 13 points and Chattanooga shot 72.7 percent in the half to 58.3 percent for the Norse.
The Mocs opened the second half with a 10-3 run and led 78-60 at the midway point. Northern Kentucky gained on a 12-4 run to trail by nine, 86-77, with 1:16 to play, but couldn't catch up.
