JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Solomon Poole had 19 points, Marquan Botley scored all of his 14 points in the second half, and Florida Atlantic pulled away for a 68-50 win over Jacksonville on Tuesday night.
FAU (7-4) built a 54-38 lead with a 13-1 run through the middle of the second half and Jacksonville (5-11) cut the deficit no closer than 14 from there.
Jackson Trapp had 13 points and Justin Massey 11 for the Owls, who led 28-27 at the half and took control with a 9-2 run to get the lead to 41-31.
FAU was 5 of 12 from 3-point range in both halves and shot 14 of 24 from the field in the second half. Jacksonville had no 3-point attempts in the first half and finished 0 for 3 from distance.
Andris Misters had 15 points, five rebounds and five steals, and Kori Babineaux led the Dolphins with 16 points.
