Wright State pulls away from Western Carolina 69-56
CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- JT Yoho scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Wright State pulled away from Western Carolina 69-56 on Thursday.
Western Carolina (3-8) tied it at 49 with 6:23 left on Rhett Harrelson's layup. Reggie Arceneaux's 3-pointer broke the tie and Wright State (8-4) closed the game on a 20-7 run to win going away.
The Raiders were down by six after 5 1/2 minutes but clawed back to up 14-12 on Grant Benzinger's 3-pointer midway through the half. An 11-6 run to end the frame put Wright State up 31-24 at the break.
Yoho was 7 of 14 from the floor. Arceneaux finished with 15 points -- including three 3-pointers -- and Joe Thomasson added 14 points and seven boards. The Raiders were 8 of 16 from beyond the arc.
Western Carolina was led by Mike Brown with 16 points. Harrelson finished with 14 points and James Sinclair added 10.
