FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Evan Kelley scored 18 points, pulled down seven rebounds, and added three steals to help lead Sacred Heart past Robert Morris 80-76 on Thursday night.
After a Rodney Pryor layup for Robert Morris tied the game at 70 with 2:21 left, Sacred Heart (13-15, 7-8 Northeastern Conference) scored the six of the games next seven points, capped off a Tevin Falzon layup to seize control of the game for good. Marcquise Reed hit a 3 with two seconds left to trim Robert Morris' final deficit to four.
Cane Broome finished with 16 points for the Pioneers and Falzon added 13 points and 18 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end.
Pryor finished with a career-high 31 points and added seven rebounds to lead the Colonels, (13-14, 9-6), which shot 52.7 percent from the field but were plagued by 20 turnovers.
