UC Davis over Cal State Fullerton 79-68
FULLERTON, Calif. -- Corey Hawkins netted a double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead UC Davis to a 79-68 win over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday night.
Josh Fox added 20 points with four rebounds for the Aggies (14-3, 4-0 Big West). Darius Graham and Neal Monson had eight points apiece.
Hawkins sank a trio of 3-pointers early in the first half, and Graham and Tyler Les combined for three more in the final 5 minutes of the period to help UC Davis to a 43-30 lead at halftime.
Cal State Fullerton closed to within six, 48-42, early in the second period before Hawkins responded with a 3-pointer and 4 of 5 from the line to extend the Aggies' lead to 55-44 with 12:09 to play.
Alex Harris scored 20 points with five rebounds and four steals for the Titans (8-10, 0-3).
