Cleveland State beats Jacksonville State 60-46
CLEVELAND -- Kaza Keane scored 13 points and Anton Grady added 12 to help Cleveland State beat Jacksonville State 60-46 on Wednesday night.
Keane hit a 70-foot trey at the buzzer to end the first half as the Vikings built a 34-21 lead. Marlin Mason made a 3-pointer with 9:30 remaining to stretch the Vikings lead to 53-32.
Jacksonville State answered with a 10-0 run to pull within 53-42 with 6:00 to play, but the Gamecocks did not get any closer.
Keane was 5 of 10 from the field, including two 3-pointers. Grady finished on 4-of-11 shooting and was 4 of 4 from the line. Mason chipped in 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Vikings (2-1), who outrebounded the Gamecocks 39-24.
D.J. Felder scored 16 points and Darion Rackley added 10 to lead Jacksonville State (0-3).
