SE Missouri State tops Tennessee State 77-62
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jarekious Bradley scored a season-high 29 points to lead Southeast Missouri State to a 77-62 Ohio Valley Conference victory over Tennessee State on Saturday.
Bradley knocked down 10 of 12 from the field, including 2 of 3 from distance, and was 7-for-7 from the line while the team shot 50 percent from the floor (28 of 56).
The victory was the Redhawks' second straight over Tennessee State.
SE Missouri State (7-8, 1-1) led by as many as 18 points in the first half and held a 12-point lead at intermission, 42-30.
Tennessee State (3-13, 0-1) cut the lead to eight points with 3:23 left to play, but Bradley closed out the game by scoring the Redhawks' final eight points, capping his night with a dunk with 1:03 left.
Marcus Roper and Jay Harris each had 13 points to lead the Tigers, who shot 37.7 percent (20 of 53).
