TOLEDO, Ohio -- Anton Wilson scored 14 points to help Detroit beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 69-55 in the Progressive Legends Classic on Monday.
Juwan Howard Jr. had 12, and Brandan Kearney and Paris Bass added 11 apiece for Detroit (3-2).
Mike Myers made 7 of 10 shots from the field and the free-throw line to finish with 21 points for Maryland-Eastern Shore (1-5). Devin Martin and Ryan Andino added 11 points apiece for the Hawks.
Maryland-Eastern Shore scored the final five points of the first half to take a 29-27 lead.
Bass hit two free throws midway through the second half to give Detroit its first lead after halftime at 48-47. Detroit held Maryland-Eastern Shore to just two field goals and eight points the rest of the way -- all scored by Myers.
