Fordham beats La Salle 63-48

BRONX, N.Y. -- Christian Sengfelder netted a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, as Fordham beat La Salle 63-48 on Wednesday night.

Sengfelder finished with 7-of-10 shooting from the field for the Rams (9-17, 4-11 American 10 Conference). Bryan Smith and Jon Severe added 15 points apiece. The team hit 45.9 percent from the field overall and outrebounded La Salle 46-34.

Fordham was up 32-23 at the break after leading the entire first half and took it to 41-28 on a Smith 3-pointer early in the second. La Salle trailed by double digits the rest of the way and the Rams cruised to the win.

Jordan Price led the Explorers (15-13, 7-8) with 16 points. Jerrell Wright added 11 points and five rebounds.

La Salle has lost four of its last six games in conference.
