SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Obi Emegano scored eight of his 14 points in the final 4 minutes and third-seeded Oral Roberts beat sixth-seeded IUPUI 58-56 in the Summit League quarterfinals Sunday night.
Oral Roberts (18-13) took the lead for good at 48-46 on Emegano's free throws with 3:42 left and made it 50-46 on Emegano's jumper at 2:10.
IUPUI (10-21) closed within one point four times in the final 53 seconds, but never took the lead. Oral Roberts went 8 for 10 from the foul line in the final minute.
Aaron Young and Bobby Word added 10 points each to help Oral Roberts set up a semifinal matchup with second-seeded North Dakota State on Monday.
Khufu Najee had 15 points and DavRon Williams 14 for the Jaguars. Williams' jumper with 4:06 left was the game's 14th and final tie at 46-all.
