Tulsa rallies from 19 down to beat Ohio 90-88
ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands -- Shaquille Harrison scored 23 of his career-high 31 points in the second half and Tulsa overcame a 19-point deficit to beat Ohio 90-88 on Friday in the Paradise Jam.
Tulsa (3-0) used a press to slow Ohio (2-1) after the Bobcats shot 61.5 percent and were 8 of 10 from 3-point range in the first half.
Tulsa put together a 14-0 run to go up 86-81 with 1:34 left. A 3-pointer by Jordan Dartis cut it to 88-87 with 10 seconds left, but James Woodard made two free throws with 6 seconds remaining. Ohio's Jaaron Simmons made a free throw with 2 seconds left, then threw his second shot off the rim -- and Tulsa grabbed the rebound.
