Memphis rolls to 94-68 victory over Louisiana Tech
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shaq Goodwin had 18 points with 12 rebounds and Memphis rolled to a 94-68 victory over Louisiana Tech on Tuesday night.
Goodwin was 7 of 11 from the floor with three assists, two steals and two blocks. Trahson Burrell scored 10 points with 11 rebounds and three assists for Memphis (4-2).
Ricky Tarrant Jr. led the Tigers with 19 points. Markel Crawford scored 9 of his 13 points in the first half. Avery Woodson added 13 points, with 11 coming in the second half.
Alex Hamilton scored 18 points to lead Louisiana Tech (5-1). Erik McCree had 14 points and Jy'lan Washington added 10 for the Bulldogs, who had their five-game winning streak snapped.
The Tigers opened on a 37-13 run, built a 44-27 halftime lead, and led 65-40 with 12:33 to play.
