Incarnate Word closes season with win over Houston Baptist
SAN ANTONIO -- Shawn Johnson finished with a season-high 27 points and added eight rebounds and Incarnate Word beat Houston Baptist 97-86 in the regular-season finale for both teams on Saturday.
Houston Baptist will go on to the Southland Conference tournament next week where it will be the No. 4 seed. Incarnate Word is ineligible for the tournament due to transitioning rules from Division II to Division I.
