PITTSBURGH -- Micah Mason and Eric James scored 18 points apiece and Duquesne beat Mississippi Valley State 91-77 on Tuesday.
Mason was 7 of 12 from the floor, including four 3-pointers. James was 7 of 11 with two 3s.
Derrick Colter added 16 points for the Dukes (6-1). Darius Lewis added 11 points and TySean Powell had 10 points and eight rebounds. Duquesne enjoyed a 49-42 advantage on the boards.
