Pryor leads Chattanooga to 80-69 win over Tennessee Tech
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Greg Pryor had 17 points, two steals and dished out five assists to help lead Chattanooga to an 80-69 win over Tennessee Tech on Tuesday night.
Pryor needs just seven more steals to reach the 100 mark in his career. He made 3 of 4 shots from long range. Tre' McLean was 7-for-11 from the floor, making all 3 attempts from beyond the arc, for 19 points. Eric Robertson nailed five 3-pointers to add 15 points and Johnathan Burroughs-Cook chipped in 14.
Chattanooga (8-2) which is off to its best start since 2002-03 season started 8-2, jumped out to an early lead and never trailed. The Mocs were up 40-32 at the half and stretched that to 64-41 at the 10:45 mark in the second half.
Hakeem Rogers led Tennessee Tech (7-4) with 21 points. The Golden Eagles had won six straight before losing to Arkansas 83-57 on Saturday.
