PHILADELPHIA -- Quenton DeCosey scored 22 points and Temple rolled to a 79-70 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday night.
DeCosey scored 13 points in the second half and finished 7 of 11 from the floor. Jaylen Bond added 18 points for Temple (2-3). Josh Brown chipped in six points and a career-high seven assists.
Earl Potts Jr. had 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including 6 of 9 from long range, for Fairleigh Dickinson (2-5). Stephan Jiggetts scored 12 points and Darian Anderson added 11.
Jiggetts made a 3-pointer to pull the Knights to 36-34 at halftime. The Owls opened the second half on a 13-3 run. Bond scored eight points and Obi Enechionyia added five points during the span.
The Owls had a 23-point lead midway through the second half. Potts scored 13 points as part of a 26-11 run to pull the Knights to 77-69 with 20 seconds left.
