Albany coasts to 92-49 win over Oneonta

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Mike Rowley scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Albany to a 92-49 win over Oneonta on Saturday night.

Evan Singletary added 12 points, while Travis Charles and Jamir Andrews had 10 apiece for the Great Danes (2-2), who shot 54 percent from the floor on 57 attempts and never trailed. Richard Peters grabbed 10 rebounds as Albany controlled the boards 43-32 and took an 11-1 advantage in takeaways.

Oneonta, a Division III program, was led by Jack Dignan, who scored 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting and Lawrence Coleman's 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. The Red Dragons were limited to just 18-for-59 shooting from the field and 4 of 21 from long range.

It was Albany's first matchup with a non-Division I team since the 2000-01 season.
