Dallas Moore leads North Florida over Hartford 81-60
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Dallas Moore had 16 points with seven assists and a career-high 14 rebounds to lead North Florida to an 81-60 victory over Hartford in the Brooklyn Hoops Classic on Friday night.
Beau Beech scored 15 points for North Florida (4-2). Aaron Bodager and Trent Mackey added 13 points apiece.
George Blagojevic had 17 points to lead Hartford (3-3). Justin Graham and Jalen Ross each chipped in 11 points.
Chris Davenport scored on a dunk, sparking a 20-5 run to give the Osprey a 31-17 lead with five minutes left in the first half. Beech made a 3-pointer and 5 of 6 free throws during the span.
Moore made a 3-pointer and a layup to stretch the Ospreys lead to 48-28 early in the second half. A 16-7 spurt pulled the Hawks to 55-44 with 11:31 left. Mackey answered with a 3-pointer and the Ospreys cruised from there.
