Delaware rallies past Marist 70-69
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Marvin King-Davis had 20 points, Kory Holden added 19 and Delaware rallied from a late 12-point deficit to beat Marist 70-69 on Saturday night.
Holden had 16 points in the second half for the Blue Hens (5-3) and 10 in the final 5:05 to spark their 17-4 rally to close the game.
Marist (2-6) led 65-53 with 5:33 left and netted its last field goal on Khallid Hart's 3-pointer that made it 68-60 with 4:12.
Holden scored the next seven points and Anthony Mosley made 1 of 2 free throws to tie it at 68 with 55 seconds left. Hart made 1 of 2 at the foul line to put Marist briefly back in front before Cazmon Hayes scored the go-ahead layup with 27 seconds to go.
Anthony Mosley added 13 points and Hayes 12 for Delaware.
Hart had a season-high 31 points to lead the Red Foxes.
