James Madison handles Mount St. Mary's 73-53
HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Dimitrije Cabarkapa scored 15 points with a career-high 13 rebounds and James Madison handled Mount St. Mary's 73-53 on Tuesday.
Ron Curry and Shakir Brown scored 13 points apiece for James Madison (10-3). Yohanny Dalembert and Winston Grays III added 10 apiece. The Dukes shot over 53 percent and made 7 of 18 beyond the arc. JMU outrebounded Mount St. Mary's 45-24.
Charles Glover led the Mount with 17 points. Gregory Graves added 14 points and seven rebounds.
James Madison scored the first 10 points of the game, a 9-0 run made it 23-9 with 3:54 left in the half, and the Dukes led 29-20 at the break.
The Mountaineers got it to four on Glover's 3-pointer 1:10 into the second half, but Mount St. Mary's went over seven minutes without scoring and James Madison built a 20-point lead on Cabarkapa's 3-pointer with 8:44 to go.
